Jiaqi Li

| Jiaqi Li focuses on the field of visual art, specializing in painting and object making. His works feature popular cultural imagery, such as princes and princesses, movie figures, and cultural symbols. He focuses on the logic of desire and capital consumption logic, and the ready-mades next to his paintings blur the boundary between simulation and the real. These works serve as narrative slices in the mind, celebrate an electronic and fast-food type of life in the process blending ideals and reality. Jiaqi Li earned his BFA from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (2019) and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as a China Scholarship Council-sponsored student (2021). Now he is pursuing his PhD at City University of Hong Kong, awarded Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. |
| 黎家齐专注视觉艺术领域，擅长绘画和现成品创作。其作品以流行文化意象为特色，如公主王子、荧幕形象和文化符号。他关注欲望和资本消费逻辑，绘画旁边的现成品使他的画作与现实的边界更加模糊。这些作品似乎有故事背景，作为脑海中的叙事切片，它们在杂糅丰满的理想和骨感的现实过程中，传递了具有电子感和快餐感的世界观。黎家齐2019年本科毕业于中央美术学院，期间赴英国格拉斯哥艺术学院访学；2021年以国家公派留学生的身份从美国芝加哥艺术学院硕士毕业。现于香港城市大学读博，获全额港府奖学金（HKPFS）。 |
